Nikica Kolar is a Research Assistant in the Department for International Economic and Political Relations at the Institute for Development and International Relations (IRMO). He received his master’s degree in political science in 2018 at the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Zagreb (FPZG), in field of political theory, defending his thesis Plenum Democracy: A False Threat to Representative Democracy. He is currently a PhD candidate in doctoral study of Political Science at FPZG, field of Croatian Politics. He is engaged in the study of political theory, international relations, status of refugees and Croatian domestic and foreign policy.
